Cogeo & Get on the Bus Enter Client Partnership
March 19th, 2022
Cogeo is excited to announce its latest client partnership with Get on the Bus (GOTB), a national organization that serves under resourced school attendees during after-school hours.
A day in the program at GOTB runs as follows: GOTB staff meet kids at school and staff and volunteers provide life lessons via the GOTB curriculum. Afterwards, players are transported by bus to fields to participate in a soccer program with an associated partner club locally. Kids are then returned home to their school via the bus after their soccer activity is over.
GOTB has the ambitious goal of graduating 10,000 kids from its program by the World Cup in 2026, and Cogeo is fully on board to making that goal a reality.
Patrick Sampson, CEO of Cogeo, shares his thoughts on the partnership: “Get on the Bus is a phenomenal program that looks to serve more than just the wellbeing of the young people it directly interacts with. It also addresses inequities in after school childcare and economic development for the entire family unit. We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring our organizational development and fundriasing skills into their ecosystem in order to robustly support their growth and sustainability.”
Tim Ryerson, the founder of GOTB, also shares his thoughts on the partnership: “We are thrilled to partner with Cogeo to help us serve more children in our sports-based youth development program "Get on the Bus". As a National program, it is imperative that we have a strategy for business development that will help us reach our goal of graduating 10,000 kids in the free program by World Cup 2026. We want the program to be sustainable and Cogeo can help us get there!”
